Brilliant tragicomedy about the end of a male friendship on an Irish island with terrible consequences.
Padraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson) live on a remote island on the west coast of Ireland. They have been friends all their lives. The horror is great when Colm suddenly decides to end their friendship. With the support of his sister Siobhan (Kerry Condon), who along with the son of the local policeman Dominic (Barry Keoghan) has her own problems in the small island community, the devastated Padraic tries to revive their friendship. But Colm gives him a shocking ultimatum to make his intentions clear. Events begin to escalate and get completely out of hand.
