The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer (Peaky Blinders, Inception) and Emily Blunt (A Quiet Place) as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine "Kitty" Oppenheimer. Academy Award® winner Matt Damon (The Bourne Conspiracy) portrays General Leslie Groves Jr, head of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey Jr (Avengers: Endgame) has taken on the role of Lewis Strauss, co-founder of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission.
