DreamWorks Animation's latest adventure is a robot fairy tale that is as exuberant as it is enchanting.
Rozzum 7134 - “Roz” for short (Judith Rakers) - is no ordinary robot. She was actually developed as a support for a futuristic urban world, but now she has been shipwrecked and is stranded on a desert island. With difficulty, she builds relationships with the initially suspicious animals and learns to adapt to the unfamiliar, harsh environment.
The great adventure begins when she accidentally becomes the guardian of a helpless, orphaned gosling and discovers the true meaning of life.
Only together can the two survive in the wilderness, where they go from strangers to friends and eventually grow into a family. When Roz's mysterious past catches up with her, she overcomes her programming and defends her new home alongside her companions as THE WILD ROBOT.
