Charlie Heller (Malek) is a brilliant but highly introverted decoder for the CIA who works in a basement office at headquarters in Langley. His life comes apart at the seams after his wife is killed in a terrorist attack in London. When his superiors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands and embarks on a dangerous journey around the globe to track down those responsible.
