It has been over a decade since the "Gates" - pathways that connect the real world to another dimension - suddenly appeared. Since then, some people have awakened with supernatural powers. These are known as Hunters and earn their living by using their powers to conquer the dungeons within the Gates. In this world, the low-ranking Hunter Jinwoo Sung is known as the "weakest Hunter of all mankind". One day, Jinwoo is mortally wounded while trying to conquer a high-ranking dungeon and at that moment, a mysterious quest window appears in front of him. On the brink of death, Jinwoo decides to accept the quest, rise in rank and fight his way to the top of the Hunter ranks.
